I have a 79 C3 Corvette that I modified with a BBC 540. I have been struggling with the radiator hoses as 79 didn't come with a Big Block. I started with the meta bendable hoses and they look like crap. I went with an oem hose and it looked like crap but it worked. I found autoplumb and it works absolutely great. Still trying to figure out the bottom hose do to the engine cradle being in front of the water pump

An excellent product but I am going to need the next step up in size for the water pump. I think the inch one will make it. Although I did use this one on the radiator it fit like a dream and thank you for your support.

Worked really well, fit great and didn't leak. Having the collar with the shims and seal being a hex rather than a smooth surface would be an improvement since the provided grip tape does not work all that great. I understand it is part of the aesthetics, however the hex feels more practical on both ends.
